Alongside her MA students she trains people in numerous different professions and settings. She is passionate about developing new, expansive ideas around communicative and interpersonal diversity.

Rachel gives independent trainings in care institutions as a consultant specialising in non-verbal communication, challenging behaviour and the development of non-verbal communication skills. She continues to make theatre with Feral Theatre and her companies Tiger’s Bride and Noiram, creating her own theatre pieces and visual art.

Rachel Porter has created Attunement Process through years of study and work as a drama and movement therapy trainer, academic and creative. She has focused specifically on body-based practices and the non-verbal communication and processes that underlie linguistic communication. In Attunement Process, we see the body, senses, feeling and intuitive functions as the primary tools for interacting and so we study and utilise an array of sensory, tactile, intuitive, creative and dynamic tools.
